Within the frame there is an intimate and close up shot of someone's arms, hands, shoulders, and neck. Long, dark brown hair is in a ponytail and out of focus along with most of the body - the focus is on the hands and wrists of the person. Their wrists are wrapped intentionally in a pattern with rope; entangled in the rope are green leaves, deep maroon flowers and more fragil yellow and peach flowers along with pedals adorned to the skin. It looks as if flowers just fell down from above and scattered themselves into the rope for this photo.

Hello and welcome to Qinky! My name is Noor and my pronouns are they/them. I am a co-creator of this website alongside the narrators. As I was interviewing folks within the queer and/or trans, black, indigenous, people of color community, what I realized is these stories are very unique! And not only that but being able to share these stories it allows us to retell a story and find empowerment!
